Although many of us claim to “not care” about the frivolous antics of celebrities and the world of entertainment it cannot be denied that news about celebrities and entertainers attracts millions of dollars in revenue. ADMIT IT! We all love a good dose of it! Nightly Candy remains sweet but sometimes depending on the subject matter can get a bit saucy . Nightly Candy delivers an honest, no holds barred, and comedic opinion about the entertainment news of the day. The main word is COMEDIC. Nightly Candy points fun at or as the British like to put it “takes the piss” with entertainment news and the intention is not to be taken seriously or literally. If you are looking for serious news check out CNN or the BBC .

You wouldn’t believe the many people who take these posts straight to the heart and obviously have a hard time understanding that celebrities are caricatures and Nightly Candy is lightly poking fun at the persona NOT the REAL person. Get a GRIP and try your best to be a fan and not a fanatic!

ABOUT: NANA-ADWOA

Nana-Adwoa (pronounced Nah-Nah-Jew Wah)

sometimes spelled Nana-Adjoa (this double spelling comes with a comical story)

fashion designer/journalist /comedic actress.

She holds a B.A from Smith College in addition to studying fashion at Parsons Schol of Design. She has designed womenwear for designers that include Polo Ralph Lauren, Kati Stern for Venexiana, and Tommy Hilfiger. She has also wrtten for such publications as The New York Post and AOL’s POPEATER.

In 2008 Nightly Candy with Nana-Adwoa had the idea to bring elements of her one-woman show (with the same title ) from the smokey comedy clubs of NYC to reach a wider audience by creating a blog. Nana-Adwoa continues to perform her show around the country and is currently working on bringing Nightly Candy to mainstream television. Stay Tuned
